An installation company, not an IT company
We fit technology into houses. Cable in walls, access points on ceilings, cameras on brackets, and everything tested before we leave.
ARK Home is based in Fareham and works across Hampshire. We do defined installation projects for homeowners: whole-home Wi-Fi, wired networks, data cabling, CCTV, video doorbells, garden office connectivity and smart-home installs.
Most of our work comes from three situations: someone has just moved in, someone is having building work done, or the Wi-Fi has been annoying for years and they've had enough of buying another box from a supermarket.
We quote fixed prices from a survey, list what isn't included, and turn up when we said we would. If a job isn't worth doing, we'll say that too.

How we work
A few things worth saying up front
We survey before we quote
Signal and cable routes can't be judged from a photo. The survey is free locally.
Fixed prices
You get a price for the job, not a day rate that grows once the floor is up.
We cable where we can
Anything that doesn't move is better on Ethernet. Wireless is for the things that do.
No subscriptions by default
Cameras record locally. If a product needs a monthly fee, we'll tell you before you buy it.
We tidy up
Floors go back, cables get clipped, and the cabinet is labelled so it makes sense later.
We're not a support desk
We install and hand over. Ongoing business support is ARK Assist's job, not ours.
